Mr. Fancy Pants
as himself
It's cute, easy to
fly, and has jaunty little wheel pants. We love this
plane and the freedom it gives us. Mr. Fancy Pants is a 1974 Bellanca
Citabria 7ECA. It seats two in tandem: Pilot in front, co-pilot in
back. Both seats have flight controls, and when Darva's not taking
photos, she and Alex share the stick time.

You'll hear a lot of
calls for runways 16 and 34 on 122.80, but they're
mostly for Independence, Albany, or even Lebanon. Newport
Municipal (ONP) has more pavement than all three of
them combined, but we're on "the edge of nowhere" and
it's lonely.
